The October 7th pancake breakfast was a success. We raised $565 in profit. Our next Knight’s breakfast will be November 11th. We will teaming up with the social justice committee for this breakfast. It was decided that this will be a made-to-order omelet breakfast.
We still need volunteers to sign up to serve as security during religious education on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Jodi has set up a SignUpGenius for this. We need to add Cathy Davis to the list, so she knows the sign up status for each slot.
Knights will be running Bingo at the Granger Nursing and Rehabilitation this Sunday. Meet at the church at 1:45.
We will need help from Knights making hot chocolate and grilling during Trunk or Treat.
A Knights of Columbus banquet will be held at Assumption next fall.
Shannon talked about coats for kids. Previously we have purchased 2 cases of coats for ~$200 each. Each case contains 12 coats. It was mentioned that Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Knights of Columbus had found that coats can be purchased much more economically from St. Vincent DePaul. Bill Grell made a motion to approve $499 for the purchase of coats; Travis seconded the motion; motion passed. Shannon will find out the details on purchasing coats from St. Vincent DePaul, and decide where to purchase the coats.
A “Man Up” men’s event (meal/Mass/rosary/program) event will be held at All Saints Church on Tuesday, November 13th
