Roll call — absent were our Chancellor – Jamie Wahl, Treasurer – Paul Martin, Warden – Darrin Limoges, Inside Guard – Dave Watznauer, Trustee 1 – Dan Merry, Trustee 2 – Troy Koester and Trustee 3 – Shannon Godwin
Reading of minutes from previous meeting was waived, motion by J. Fernandez, 2nd K. Geneser, approved
Welcome to our newest Knight – Grant Sims, 1st Degree completed this evening.
Grand Knight’s Report: This is the last meeting for our existing Grand Knight – Travis Risvold. He is looking forward to all that the Council can accomplish in the upcoming years.
Recent breakfast had a $392 profit; less 10% to the Council, proceeds will be split with Vacation Bible School. Duties will transition in the upcoming weeks to our new Grand Knight.
District Deputy Report: (J. McNaughton) Thank you to the Council for past year’s involvement in all aspects, look forward to the upcoming year.
Treasurer’s Report: None
Financial Secretary: Nothing to report.
- Right for Life monument – no update, but first half of money was provided for payment. (Monument since installed – take a look)
- Hot Rods & Hogs – This year’s donations/proceeds will go to the Granger Volunteer Services. This volunteer support services for Granger are at no cost to the clients, totally volunteer supported. This is 501(c)(3) approved. Has some startup costs including insurance. Could use some Information Technology assistance, medical equipment or many other opportunities to get involved.
- Volunteer Hours – Kendall Geneser has a full sheet to keep track of hours, please turn in any hours to Kendall.
- Special Olympics – In the past the Council has supported the Plane Pull, entry fee is $50; request/motion for $50 by D. Schwarzkopf, 2nd by J. Fernandez, approved
Good of the Order = Prayer request for Travis Risvold’s mother-in-law, Shirley, following recent cardiac issues. Also keep Kathy Bermel and family in your prayers.
